The lines

Exterior

Roadster-inspired design keeps bodywork to the essentials, wrapping tightly around the upper frame for a genuinely close connection between rider and machine. Striking graphics and contrasting tones give it a distinctive, progressive look, topped off by a Bi-LED headlight that lights the road when the sun goes down.

Frame

A compact tubular steel frame delivers genuine agility and stability, its geometry developed specifically for a new breed of street motorcycle. Strong, light hydro-formed components are laser-cut and robot-welded for real precision and durability, with flex and rigidity calculated for outstanding feedback.

LED projector lens

The Bi-LED headlight lights the way in low light with a seriously bright output and an unmistakable look, its surrounding ring adding visibility and distinctive style up front. At the rear, LED tail light and turn signals sit neatly integrated into the bodywork, leaving those smooth contours undisturbed.

Handlebar

Lightweight, black-anodised aluminium handlebars with a flat bend look the part while flexing just enough to let riders feel what the chassis is doing. A WP steering damper adds front-wheel stability, and adjustable bar mounts let every rider dial in their preferred position.

Tank

A 14-litre, bullet-shaped fuel tank sits central to the Vitpilen 801’s design, housed in a unique cover offering genuine knee contact for a confidence-inspiring ride and unrestricted movement under acceleration and braking.

Seat

Tapered at the front for easy access and movement, the seat combines high-quality materials with carefully engineered foam for genuine comfort and durability, topped with a yellow highlight strip for a striking finish.

The thrill

Parallel twin engine

A compact 799cc parallel-twin engine produces 105hp, built with advanced techniques including active crankcase evacuation and semi-dry-sump lubrication for genuinely exceptional efficiency, performance and durability, with service intervals stretching to 15,000km.

Easy Shift

Easy Shift keeps gear changes genuinely smooth and quick — the EMS detects movement on the gear lever and briefly limits power for seamless upshifts or matches engine speed on downshifts, removing the need for the clutch entirely.

Ride modes

Multiple electronic rider aids boost usability with three pre-set modes — Street engaged by default, Sport sharpening throttle response for riders who want to break traction with the rear wheel, and Rain dialling back power and response for adverse conditions. A Dynamic mode also unlocks individual set-up of throttle response, traction control and advanced rider settings.

Dynamic pack

The optional Dynamic pack unlocks the Vitpilen 801’s full potential, letting riders personalise the Dynamic mode across three throttle response settings — Street, Sport or Dynamic — plus 10-level slip adjustment, 5-level anti-wheelie control and Motorcycle Slip Regulation.

Anti-Wheelie mode

Within the optional Dynamic pack, anti-wheelie mode offers five levels of control from Very Low to Very High for a specific degree of wheelie, or switches off entirely for experienced riders who want full control.

Motorcycle Traction Control

Motorcycle Traction Control reads lean angle data from three integrated sensors in real time, active as standard in every ride mode to help maintain grip through corners and boost safety — or switch off entirely for advanced riders after a livelier, slide-friendly ride.

Motorcycle Slip Regular

Motor Slip Regulation manages engine braking by balancing throttle application when high drag torque hits from downshifting or a sudden throttle close. Included in the Dynamic pack or available standalone, it delivers genuinely smooth deceleration for extra safety, especially in low-grip conditions, for beginners and experienced riders alike.

The feeling

Ergonomics

Unrestrictive ergonomics deliver a genuinely confidence-inspiring ride — the seat, footrests and smooth tank cover position the rider for a low centre of gravity and heightened control, with adjustable handlebar mounts adding a further layer of customisation.

Suspension

Premium WP suspension handles both urban streets and faster, flowing roads with ease. Easily adjustable 43mm WP APEX open-cartridge front forks offer 140mm of travel with customisable compression and rebound, while a WP rear shock connected directly to the die-cast aluminium swingarm delivers 150mm of travel with adjustable rebound and preload for genuinely optimised comfort and stability.

Brakes

Dual-disc J.Juan brakes bring genuinely exceptional stopping power — two 300mm floating front discs with radially mounted four-piston callipers, and a 240mm rear disc with a two-piston calliper. The Bosch ABS system can also switch to Supermoto ABS, deactivating rear ABS for advanced riders who want to slide into corners.

Wheels and tyres

Lightweight 17″ cast alloy wheels deliver genuine strength and durability with minimal unsprung weight, finished in black anodising and fitted with Michelin Road 6 tyres for exceptional traction and predictability on asphalt.

Gearbox

A six-speed sequential gearbox delivers quick, precise changes, with the Easy Shift sensor detecting gear lever movement to briefly limit power for smooth upshifts, and glass-bead-blasted teeth on 4th, 5th and 6th gears adding genuine reliability.

The tech

TFT dashboard

A 5″ TFT dashboard with a bonded glass screen puts essential information at a glance — travelling speed, fuel level and selected gear — controlled via backlight switch cubes on the left handlebar.

Connectivity

A standard-fit Connectivity Unit unlocks genuine functionality once a smartphone connects via Bluetooth — play and control music, make or receive calls — with Remote Control Mode letting riders control the Ride Husqvarna Motorcycles app from the handlebar buttons for added safety and simplicity.

Ride Husqvarna Motorcycles

Downloaded to a smartphone before setting off, the Ride Husqvarna Motorcycles app opens up genuine connectivity and exploration. Paired with the Vitpilen 801, Turn-by-Turn navigation displays right on the TFT dashboard, making it easy to follow the fastest route from A to B.

Cruise control switch

A cruise control switch, available as a Technical Accessory, adds real convenience for longer, straighter rides — the handlebar-mounted unit replaces the original switch cube to add cruise control alongside the existing rider aids.

Service

This state-of-the-art parallel-twin engine delivers genuinely exceptional performance, reliability and serviceability, with oil, oil filter and air filter needing replacement only every 15,000km, after an initial oil change at 1,000km.

Anti-theft

An immobiliser comes fitted as standard for genuine anti-theft protection, an electronic security feature embedded in the bike that activates automatically the moment you switch off the ignition.

Premium Manufacturer’s Warranty

This motorcycle comes with a Premium Manufacturer’s Warranty. Riders enjoy up to 4 years of coverage; ride worry-free and experience the thrill of Husqvarna with added peace of mind. To keep the warranty valid, regular services must be performed according to the service plan at an authorised Husqvarna Mobility dealer. More information and details on how to benefit from this offer can be found on the Husqvarna warranty page. Valid from Model Year 2025 onwards for all street legal motorcycles across the entire street range. Previously limited to selected models, the Premium Manufacturer’s Warranty now covers the entire street range.
