Precisely engineered

Frame

A lightweight chromium-molybdenum steel trellis frame is tuned slightly stiffer without giving up its renowned handling, with calculated torsional rigidity and longitudinal flex feeding detailed terrain feedback back to the rider. Centre stand brackets have also been relocated for easier installation.

Subframe

A self-supporting rear subframe integrates a 13-litre fuel tank positioned for genuinely optimal weight distribution. The single-piece polyamide tank is built via thermoplastic rotational moulding for low weight.

WP forks

WP XPLOR front forks deliver 265mm of travel, purpose-built for dual-sport riding with an open-cartridge design and a spring in each leg. Compression and rebound both fine-tune across 30 clicks via clearly marked dials on top of each fork leg.

WP shock

The WP XPLOR rear shock offers adjustable compression and rebound for a genuinely personalised set-up, connected to an offroad-geometry linkage system with 250mm of rear wheel travel for comfort and stability across any terrain.

Airbox

An intake snorkel improves airflow into the engine, with an updated design using fewer parts while keeping the same proven, reliable air filter from the previous generation.

Fuel pump

A higher-pressure fuel pump improves fuel atomisation and sharpens the connection between throttle and rear wheel, while also making fuel filter replacement genuinely easy.

A masterpiece

Engine

Redesigned crankcases cut drag, helping this single-cylinder engine produce more torque and peak power than the previous generation. The proven LC4 engine meets the latest emissions standards while keeping its trademark linear, controllable delivery, with service intervals now stretching to 15,000km between oil changes.

Cylinder head

This compact SOHC four-valve cylinder head runs 42mm intake and 34mm exhaust valves, actuated by a reliable rocker arm system for precise valve timing even at high revs. A dual-spark plug layout with individually controlled ignition timing keeps fuel consumption genuinely efficient.

Exhaust

An improved exhaust system uses two lambda sensors alongside a catalytic converter relocated into the header pipe to keep emissions in check, while an updated design lets riders swap in a Technical Accessories silencer quickly for extra performance.

Gearbox

This six-speed gearbox pairs with an optional Quickshifter+ for clutchless changes at any point. One sensor on the shift arm detects lever movement and briefly cuts power, while a second confirms gear selection before power returns in full — delivering smoother acceleration and better traction, even under heavy load.

Perfect control

Ride-by-wire throttle

Keihin electronic fuel injection runs a 50mm throttle body with no mechanical linkage to the grip — the EMS reads sensor data continuously and controls the throttle valve electronically as you twist the throttle, for genuinely smooth, responsive power delivery.

Brakes

Bosch’s latest ABS offers road and offroad settings, paired with a two-piston floating Brembo calliper and 300mm disc up front and a single-piston Brembo calliper with a 240mm disc at the rear for genuinely confidence-inspiring stopping power. Advanced riders can disengage ABS entirely via a dedicated handlebar button.

Dynamic Slip Adjust

A button on the TFT dashboard activates Dynamic Slip Adjust in optional RALLY mode, temporarily lowering Motorcycle Traction Control to allow extra rear wheel spin exactly when it’s needed — say, hitting a muddy patch or steep climb on a high MTC setting — without cutting engine power, before torque and slip return automatically to their original setting once grip is regained.

Bodywork

Updated graphics sit on smoother, sleeker bodywork designed to connect rider and machine for genuinely unrestricted movement. An extended seat reaches over the radiator shrouds for better grip through tight corners, while an LED headlight unit lights the way in any low-light situation.

Premium technology

Electronic rider aids

A handlebar-mounted switch cube unlocks a genuinely comprehensive set of rider aids, with Street, Offroad and optional Rally ride modes selectable to suit conditions or preference. Rally Mode goes further, letting riders adjust traction control, throttle response, Dynamic Slip Adjust and Motor Slip Regulation for a truly personalised ride.

Connectivity

Pairing a smartphone with the Ride Husqvarna app unlocks genuine connectivity on the move — taking calls, playing music, and following Turn-by-Turn+ navigation so you never miss a turn.

TFT dashboard

A clear 4.2″ TFT dashboard with a bonded anti-glare screen sits neatly in front of the aluminium handlebars, putting essential information at a glance, with a USB-C port beneath it for keeping devices charged on the move.
