Style

Bodywork

Clean, sleek bodywork is scaled down from the full-size machines while keeping the same proven ergonomics. Larger contact points let young riders grip the bike tighter with their legs for better control, and a flat seat profile gives room to move freely.

Airbox

A simple installation process makes air filter changes fast, clean and easy. The Twin Air filter, with a large surface area for maximum airflow, comes fitted as standard and is reached simply by removing the quick-release seat by hand.

Handlebars & grips

High-quality aluminium handlebars with a black anodised finish cut vibration and boost stability. A wide bend improves comfort and body positioning, while thin-diameter ODI grips give young riders a heightened level of control.

Fuel tank

Sleek in design and fitted onto the frame inside the ergonomic bodywork, the slim fuel tank holds an ample 2.35 litres.

Handling

Adjustable ergonomics

To suit riders of different sizes, the TC 50 offers plenty of adjustment: handlebars mount in four positions, the rear shock can drop from its standard ‘high’ setting into a lower one, and the subframe and bodywork install in two positions to suit each individual rider.

Frame

Made from chromium-molybdenum steel, the frame delivers a genuinely good ride thanks to precise geometry and calculated flex. The shock isn’t connected to the upper frame tube, reducing energy transferred through the chassis for greater stability, and textured frame protectors improve control while shielding the dark blue metallic powder coat from wear.

Subframe

A hybrid of polyamide glass fibre and steel gives this subframe genuine reliability. Robust, lightweight and durable, it plays a real role in the TC 50’s handling and adjusts in height for personalised ergonomics.

Forged triple clamps

Forged triple clamps keep the forks perfectly aligned for smooth, uncompromised performance from the WP suspension. The upper clamp is designed to keep dirt and water away from the steering bearings, extending service intervals, while the clamps overall offer calculated flex without giving up stability.

WP forks

The latest suspension technology comes in the form of 35mm WP XACT-USD forks — lightweight, yet offering genuine damping and comfort so young riders can ride with confidence. An advanced air spring in the left fork leg adjusts easily with the supplied pump for a tailored setup, with 205mm of travel on offer.

WP shock

Connecting directly to the swingarm, the WP XACT shock runs race-tested settings for excellent damping. Preload, high- and low-speed compression, and rebound are all adjustable, so the shock can be tailored to any rider.

Swingarm

Cast as a single hollow piece of aluminium for optimal stiffness, the swingarm pairs with a 12mm rear axle to match the frame’s flex characteristics. The chain guard and slider are shaped to stop mud building up around the swingarm.

Motor

Engine

Compact and powerful, the TC 50 engine uses the latest two-stroke technology to deliver a broad spread of usable power for every rider. The crankshaft sits close to the centre of gravity, sharpening handling while creating the ideal intake angle for genuinely strong performance.

Cylinder head

Purpose-built cylinder head inserts significantly boost heat conduction — a unique design specific to the TC 50 that isn’t compatible with other TC models.

Carburetor

A proven Dellorto PHBG 19 BS carburettor is tuned to maximise engine performance, so the TC 50 runs clean throughout its rev range.

Exhaust system

The exhaust system lifts the TC 50’s performance considerably. Welding seams removed from inside keep exhaust gas flow unrestricted for maximum power, a laser-cut flange gasket ensures a perfect seal, and the silencer now seals tighter around the end cap with a black anodised finish.

Automatic clutch

A reinforced basket and quality plates give the automatic clutch excellent durability and consistent performance. Torx bolts hold the clutch pack together for easier inspection and replacement, and the gasket behind the clutch cover keeps everything properly sealed.

Parts

Brakes

Hydraulically operated calipers paired with waved, state-of-the-art discs front and rear deliver consistent, reliable braking. Durable calipers and discs stretch out maintenance intervals, and the forged rear brake pedal adds a level of control.

Radiators

A large-capacity radiator with simply routed hoses ensures strong cooling, positioned to stay clear of potential damage. A threaded radiator cap makes checking the coolant level quick and easy.

Wheels & tyres

Lightweight aluminium hubs are laced to black anodised aluminium rims with strong spokes for a genuinely reliable set of wheels, wrapped in Maxxis Maxxcross MX-ST tyres for excellent traction and predictability across varied surfaces.
